HINDU–MUSLIM RIOTS AND ASTROLOGICAL PERSPECTIVE

In the beginning itself, I want to assert that this article has nothing to do with spreading any kind of communalism etc. and I have omitted the parts which deal with the cast or community in the incidents, but yes this article is about the riots between Hindus and Muslims, and the planetary arrangement at that time. While researching on the topic over internet, I found 10 major Hindu-Muslim riots in India. I thought that there should be some common links with respect to planets and their behaviors that caused such incidents affecting masses so brutally at such a large scale. They are as under:

(1) At The Time Of Partition, August 1947

Hindu-Muslim riots spreaded and many hundreds were massacred in the name of God, religion, boundaries, etc. The planetary position at that time was:

(2) September-October 1969 Gujarat Riots

On September 18, 1969, after an attack on a hindu temple the riots broke and proved to be the worst riots after India - pakistan partition. The planets on that date were like this:

(3) August-November 1980 Moradabad Riots

This was a basically Hindu-Muslim conflict and later turned to be Muslim-Police conflict. It happened on August 13 and went on till November 1980. The planetary positions were:

(4) April 11, 1979 Jamshedpur Riots

The 2 months of these riots began from October 24, 1989. The planetary position were:

(7) Atrocities On Kashmiri Pandits September 1989-1990

There were severe atrocities reported in the periods of september 1989 to 1990 at various places in the Jammu-Kashmir valley.

This is a very less data for some. But, I think, 10 incidents of same nature can give some insights about: What planets in what position can trigger such incidents again? Particularly, when the nature of incidents is so grave. To believe it or not is something totally different. Let us see what is similar or near by in all these incidents.

Here, we will consider subs of Saturn, Rahu, Ketu, Jupiter only and stars and signs of all planets. I have not included Mercury because its transit is very fast, and Venus because it is considered a natural benefic and has fast transit as compared to Saturn, Jupiter, Rahu-Ketu, etc.

Saturn : Saturn is considered a cruel planet in Vedic Astrology and has a punishing nature, as it is said. Readers can see that Saturn was in sub of “benefic” Venus 5 times in these 10 horrible incidents. It was 4 times equally in dual and fixed signs and only twice in movable signs. It was in Venus star 4 times out of 10. The other stars were Mercury, Sun, Moon, Rahu. The other subs were Jupiter, Ketu, Moon, Saturn. It was 5 times alone, and in remaining 5 it was twice conjunct with Venus, twice Rahu, and once Mars.

Venus is considered a benefic planet and Guru of “Asuras”. But, we see that in these incidents, Saturn needed Venus to accomplish mass incidents. So, is Venus really a benefic?

Jupiter : Jupiter is the most benefic planet as said in our scriptures. I personally feel that it is not so as said to be, but planets behave according to what our destiny is. Even benefics turn malefic and malefics turn benefics. All depends upon fate and past Karmas. We see in day-to-day life that a stranger saves one’s life, takes him to hospital, and best friends poison friends for money or many other things. The same is with planets.

Readers will see that Jupiter is in dual signs 7 times, twice in fixed and once in movable. 6 times Jupiter was in Mercury signs. Jupiter himself owns dual signs also and is considered a dual planet because of that. So, he loses his power to control the evil when he is traversing in signs of Mercury?

Rahu : Rahu is considered a natural malefic and we see in day-to-day life that usually its effects are not very digestible to most of the natives. Though it is a cash cow of roadside Pandas. Rahu surfaced in fixed signs 6 times and thrice in movable and only once in dual. 4 times it was in sub of Saturn. Thrice it was in star of Mars. Rahu-Mars combination is a bad combination in general also, so is Rahu-Saturn combination.

Ketu : Ketu is another planet which has confused most of the astro fraternity. Not only in India but in West. Readers will note that Ketu was in fixed signs 6 times and thrice in movable and once in dual sign. It was almost in star of every other planet, but was in sub of Saturn 5 times, twice in own sub and twice in Moon sub and only once in Jupiter sub.

Mars : Mars is the force which triggers a native to do ghastly acts of violence in the name of anything. Without Mars, it is not possible to do any act of violence or bravery at physical level. Readers will find that Mars was never present in fixed signs at the time when these incidents took place. It was equally in 5 times in movable and dual signs.

Uranus Neptune Pluto : Not much is known about the behavior of these planets though. In West, they are considered very important in mundane events and Westerners have done a lot of work on them. But, there is not much to talk about their stars and subs, so let us see the signs in which they were present at the time of these incidents. They remain for very long time in a sign so readers will note that Uranus was in dual signs 7 times, Neptune was almost equally distributed in dual as well as fixed signs, and Pluto was almost equally in movable and dual signs. Since, they transit for very long times in a sign, so they usually are weak indicators. Uranus moves 0 to 4 minutes per day and takes around 84 years to cover all 12 signs of the zodiac, while staying in 1 sign for approx 7 years. On the other hand, Neptune takes almost 165 years to cover the 12 signs of the zodiac.

Pluto has a very long span and takes roughly 248 years to transit through all the signs.

So, can we pinpoint such incidents in the future? I am sure that a proper use of this data can be useful in finding out the possibilities of such incidents.

What I feel at personal level is that if researched deeply, we can pinpoint the years and months when the probability of such incidents will be very high and predict and forewarn the society to remain away from separatists’ speeches as well as actions
